Daniyaal’s martial arts academy has a goal: to empower people to make positive changes in their lives. With three children’s, one adults’ and one ladies’ only class, the academy prides itself on supporting a healthy lifestyle, and encouraging a strong sense of self-assurance and self-discipline.

For some people, the difference between knowing and not knowing self-defence can be the difference between life and death. For most of us, self-defence means being able to protect ourselves in all situations, which is a confidence booster as much as it is a reassurance. Daniyaal’s martial arts academy invites people of all backgrounds and ages to join their classes, whatever the reason for joining may be, to ultimately succeed in their personal goals.

Daniyaal’s martial arts academy doesn’t only aim to teach self-defence- there is also a strong focus on fitness, wellbeing, safety, and friendship. The academy has people attending classes in order to stay fit, catch up with friends, or simply to learn something fun. Although the primary purpose of the classes is to encourage members of society- women and children especially- to learn how to protect themselves in aggressive situations, the academy also aims to help make the community a stronger, better place.
Knightsbridge have sponsored various classes run by the academy which have allowed women and children to attend these classes free of charge. A recent sponsorship on our part saw 25 ladies gain self-defence skills during a free ladies-only session. Knightsbridge believe that the academy is an incredibly important feature within the community, especially for vulnerable people or those living in areas of high crime, in order for residents to gain confidence and to introduce a general feeling of security.

Knightsbridge appreciates Daniyaal’s martial arts academy for not only everything they stand for, but also their own involvement in the community and the difference they aspire to make to the world. The academy regularly embarks in charity work, and has recently offered free self-defence classes for women in return for donations of tinned food to be sent to refugees currently living in Calais. Knightsbridge has a deep admiration for the academy for the fact that their positive actions towards the community and good deeds seem to have no limit. We will continue to support Daniyaal’s martial arts academy and help them make the community a safer place.
