The evening of November 14th marked the fourth annual Asian Football Awards, a ceremony which celebrates Asians in the football industry.
Representatives at Knightsbridge had the pleasure of attending the event, where we were truly inspired by the level of talent amongst all the players who had been nominated.
We were sponsors of the Young Player of the Year Award, and were honoured to present it to award winner Easah Suliman, a player for Aston Villa and England under 21s.
Easah is truly a deserving winner with an inspirational history and a promising career in the sport ahead of him. He has represented England at youth level and is noted for being the first player of Asian heritage to captain an England football side, having done so at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels.
He played every game at centre back in the England Under-19s victorious UEFA European Under-19 Championships campaign in July 2017, scoring the opening goal in England’s 2–1 win over Portugal.
We had a truly fantastic time at the awards and would like to give thanks to the Asian Football Awards team for allowing us to sponsor such a special event.
