We consider both public-funded and privately funded matters and will advise you on the funding options available during the initial consultation.

Legal Aid

Legal Aid is available for criminal matters to help those who cannot afford to pay for advice.

Eligibility for legal aid is based on your income, savings, and if relevant the income and savings of your spouse/partner.

The Legal Aid Agency (LAA) will also need to consider if it is in the ‘Interests of Justice’ for you to have legal representation via the Legal Merits test.

‘No Win No Fee’

We offer a ‘No Win No Fee’ policy (Conditional Fee Agreement) for medical negligence cases, meaning that you will not have to pay anything to us in the eventuality of an unsuccessful claim.

In cases where you are successful, we will then only ask for a fixed fee or percentage of your final settlement. However, the amount of compensation you may receive will vary from case to case.

Privately Funded Fees

Due to the variable nature of our cases, we advise clients to contact us directly for questions about our fees.

There are fixed prices available for some aspects of our work including Will writing and motor-related offences. However, in most situations, the value of our service is based on the time we spend working on a case, as well as the expertise of our lawyers.

Hourly rates vary according to the expertise of our lawyers, the area of work involved and includes all necessary legal work and the time spent in dealing with your affairs.
